Created by Ghanaian artist Kwaku Ntow following the completion of The Bloodline Tribune's first year, Ancestral Tree represents lineage, heritage, roots, and the generations that make our existence possible. The tree rises toward the sky, but its story begins beneath the ground. Its exposed roots stretch outward in different directions, reminding us that what is visible today is supported by histories we may never fully see. Families branch. Names change. People migrate. Stories disappear and are rediscovered. Yet every generation remains connected to something that came before it. The strength of the tree is not only in its height or its branches. It is in the depth of its roots. Created at the close of The Bloodline Tribune's first year, the piece also reflects the foundation of Bloodline itself: preserving lineage, recovering history, honoring our ancestors, and creating something strong enough for another generation to inherit. Ancestral Tree is a reminder to know where you come from, honor what survived before you, and never become so focused on growing upward that you forget what keeps you rooted. Presented as a high quality reproduction on thick 189 g/m² matte paper and finished in a .75 inch matte black ayous wood frame with a protective Acrylite front. Lightweight and ready to hang with hardware included. The Bloodline Art Gallery Preserving Black art. Bringing our history home.
